IT Infrastructure Engineer to contribute to technical enhancements and modifications to our network and server environment. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you'll have exposure to over 40 network locations, and multiple data centers distributed across Regional Western Australia and have the privilege of working with a highly motivated and high-performance team.

 

On-Call Level 2 Support: The engineer will participate in an on-call support schedule, providing after-hours assistance on a rotating basis. This typically involves covering one week approximately every 7-8 weeks.

 

Key responsibilities will include: 

• Participate in sportsman 24x7 roster (Day/Night Shift)

• Assist in day-to-day management and maintenance of company backup systems and testing

• Maintain physical and virtual servers through software patching

• Assisting other IT Infrastructure Engineers in providing first-line support when workloads are high, or where additional experience is required.

• Monitor and optimise systems for performance gains

• Design and implement systems in line with good security practise

• Ensure all Infrastructure documentation is relevant and up to date.

• Adhere to production change control policy

 

• Relevant Tertiary Engineering Qualification or Industry Certification 

• Background in Mining operations is desirable. 

• Extensive experience working in server and network engineering role

• Excellent Infrastructure knowledge

• Demonstrated analytical and problem management skills.

• Expert knowledge in current technologies applicable to the company

• Advanced technical understanding of hardware, software, applications, networks, communications technologies
