About the role 

Due to continued growth, we have exciting opportunity for experienced Earthworks Construction Supervisors to join our construction team on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth or Brisbane.

Reporting to the Earthworks Superintendent your will be the first point of contact during the initial preparatory work through to completion of the project.

 The role 

• Oversee heavy mobile plant operations with bulk & detailed earthworks.
• Review and interpret permits, plans and technical drawings. 
• Manage contractor performance and report to direct Line managers. 
• Schedule materials and plant requirements. 
• Schedule contractors to perform their duties at specified dates and times. 
• Monitor progress and provide comprehensive progress reports. 
• Ensure work on site is conducted safely and in line with relevant regulations. 
• Organise and manage a constantly changing workload.
• Liaising with line managers and engineers on technical issues. 
• Give clear and precise instructions to Plant operators and Contractors on site.
• Review and implementation of safety measures and initiatives including ensuring JHAs are thorough and accurate in reflecting the task at hand and include all associated risks and controls. 

 What you’ll bring to the team 

• Minimum 5+ years demonstrated previous experience within the Mining Construction Industry in a similar Supervisory Role.
• C Class Driver’s Licence. 
• Section 44. 
• Schedule 26 (desirable).
