The Opportunity

Our Mining Wear Parts team is expanding and are seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join our business in Yatala QLD.

The Business Development Manager will provide technical assistance, specialising in our Ground Engaging Tools (GET) products, providing quality service to our clients and showcasing our vision to maintain accelerated growth in the market.

You will be the key driver in identifying sales opportunities across the Mining, Aggregate, Recycling and Mobile contracting industries and have a strong technical understanding across GET product solutions.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Identify key customers and develop solid visit plan to ensure regular contact and communication, representing product solutions as the preferred GET solutions choice in the market
• Manage upcoming GET projects and necessary parts specified & used
• Provide mentoring and technical assistance to MWP wider sales team with update on projects by discussion and to maintain and progress projects.
• Advise on market trends as well as guide on stock holdings of new parts
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
• Visiting clients locally and on site, building strong relationships

What is Required

• At least 5 years proven working experience in a sales development and client management role within GET solutions
• Experience servicing the Mining, Civil and heavy industries, building strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Strong knowledge with mobile equipment with a good understanding of GET and wear solutions 
• Proven track record of achieving sales budgets and business development.
• Excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise their workload and effectively manage their time.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are necessary.
• Current driver’s license and an interest in travel
