About the role

Reporting to the Training Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to the MinRes Business and its associated clients and providers. It leads a team of Training Administrators to ensure effective support to business stakeholders and adherence to MinRes Training Systems and Processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with management teams to ensure a proactive approach is adopted with regards to training systems and processes
  • Influence and educate stakeholders relating to key training request procedures and processes
  • Coordinate and motivate a team of administrators to execute the external training request process
  • Utilise and become an expert in the digital Training Management Systems
  • Actively utilise and seek improvement opportunities in the MRL Training Framework
  • Identify cost savings opportunities where MinRes are able to improve efficiencies
  • Perform a governance role over the training cost codes
  • Audit training systems and processes to ensure a high level of integrity is maintained
  • Liaise with external parties including Registered Training Organisations and external training providers

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) Desirable
  • Understanding of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF)
  • Excellent customer service and support skills
  • Ensure attention to detail and professionalism are incorporated into work outputs 
  • Able to multi-task and prioritise workload
  • Experience generating reports and documents
  • Proficient in MS Office 365
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively
  • 2 or more years’ experience in a Training related role in the Resources Sector
  • Experience leading an effective Team
