About the role

Our CSI Training Centre is currently seeking an experienced Compliance Trainer to join the team. The role will primarily be based at our recently refurbished training centre at our HQ, precinct at Osborne Park, with some travel to metro facilities in Kwinana and South Guildford at CSI facilities

The role will ensure the workplace training needs are successfully achieved to the MinRes standards, aligned to the organisation’s goals, and assist in ensuring employee compliance to ensure that they are ready to go once they arrive on site.

Some of the key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Audit MinRes sites to ensure compliance with the Training Framework requirements
  • Support the implementation of new VOC/Training requirements for new equipment on site
  • Lead by example in the field to ensure best practices are demonstrated and abided by
  • Facilitate training and assessment (Nationally Recognised Training, VOC, Familiarisations, Site-based training presentations etc.)  to meet site needs in accordance with the MinRes Training System
  • Help develop training packages to meet business needs
  • Build key relationships with site-based management teams to ensure their training needs are met
  • Promote and support the MinRes Training Standards and Processes
  • Upload completed training documentation into LMS

About you

  • Demonstrated experience working in a training role, within a busy, remote mining environment is crucial
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116)
  • High Risk Accreditation - LF, WP, DG, CN
  • National Accredited tickets - Working at Heights, Confined Space, Gas Testing, Provide First Aid
  • Training Management System experience (INX- InTuition desirable)
  • Experience with the development of training packages to National Standards
  • Valid C Class drivers’ licence
