About the Opportunity 

The CSI Mining Services team have an immediate requirement for a an experienced and motivated Workshop Supervisor to join their Haulage team on their Client's Rio Tnto's Bauxite Operations located in Weipa North Queensland. As the Workshop Supervisor you will be working a 7days 7Night 7Days RnR Roster, you will reporting directly into the Haulage Superintendent and play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our assets by developing and executing maintenance plans that maximise equipment availability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.  

• Manage and direct compliance with MRL Safety & HSEQT legislative requirements.
• Schedule repairs and tasks for haulage vehicles.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for parts and supplies.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on completed work.
• Mentor and motivate workshop staff to maximise productivity and performance.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimise equipment breakdowns

What is required?

• Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor or similar role, preferably in the haulage or transportation industry.
• Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and vehicle diagnostics.
• Exposure to a Fleet Maintenance software is highly desirable
• Proven experience working in a busy Workshop environment & meeting KPIs
