The Opportunity

Mineral Resources is actively seeking experienced Electricians to join our team on one of our upcoming Greenfields construction projects in the Pilbara working on the Haul Road, Village, NPI area including Workshops, Fuel Farm, Washdown Bay and Admin Facility, Lump & Fines crushing plant with offices on a 3/1 roster with a Perth point of hire.

 

What you will be doing:

Reporting through to the Supervisor, some of your duties will include:

  • Ensure safety protocols and procedures are strictly adhered to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Interpret drawings to determine the layout of piping, equipment, and systems.
  • Assembled structures and equipment and perform relevant checks to ensure quality and integrity. Using testing equipment, visual inspections, and pressure tests.
  • Collaborate and effectively communicate with other team members, including welders, plumbers, or pipefitters

 

What is required? (Tickets & Licenses)

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience working within the mining, construction and resources industry
  • Australian recognised Trade certificate in Electrical  
  • Current Western Australian Electrical Licence
  • High Risk Work Licence - WP
  • Construction White Card 
  • Current Working at Heights (2 years)
  • Current CPR and LVR 
  • Unlimited Australian working rights 
  • National Police clearance (12 months)
  • Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical and a Drug / Alcohol Screen
