HD Fitter - Dump Truck Specialist

Due to recent structure changes and our continued drive to utilise internal resources, we have an exciting opportunity for a HD Fitter – specialising in Dump Trucks.
This will be a challenging and dynamic role encompassing both time on the floor, as well as time focusing on reliability and improvement initiatives.
This role will be 8/6 dayshift only.
Key responsibilities:
- Support site execution of reliability & improvement projects for our fleet, focusing on improving reliability and reducing total costs of ownership
- Contribute to improvements in maintenance strategies and tactics by effectively communicating real world data on failures to central support teams
- Preventative and Breakdown maintenance on Dump Trucks
- Provide technical expertise and input to support site maintenance by acting as a SME
Essential skills:
- Extensive knowledge and experience maintaining Komatsu and CAT Dump Trucks
- Absolute commitment to safe work practices
- Basic understanding of reliability centered maintenance
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, ability to clearly document procedures and present findings

What You’ll Bring

- Australian recognised trade certificate
- Current Australian driver’s license
- Mining or extensive MEM experience with large-scale surface mining machinery from major OEMs
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and preventative maintenance expertise
- NHHC within 12 months or willingness to attain
- Rights to work in Australia
