The Opportunity

As the Integration Engineer, you will empower our Data, Integration, and Analytics (DIA) Platform—delivering robust data integration, automation, and operational support. You'll work at the heart of MinRes’ connectivity transformation, ensuring seamless integration of systems, applications, and cloud platforms. This role is fundamental to powering real-time analytics, automated insights, and data-driven decision-making across the business.

This role is a 6-month fixed term role based at our Head Office in Osborne Park, on a Monday to Friday roster.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the improvement and automation of integration platforms and workflows.
  • Leverage our Application Integration framework in AWS.
  • Implement scalable, resilient integration pipelines and automated data flows between ERPs, SaaS, and cloud services.
  • Apply best practices around API management, data validation, monitoring, and error handling.
  • Utilise Infrastructure as Code principles for streamlined integration deployments.
  • Design secure, high-performance integration solutions using modern API-driven and event-based methods.
  • Connect diverse systems (ERP, IoT, SaaS) to support business processes and real-time operations.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and data architecture teams to optimise performance and maintain robust cybersecurity.
  • Deliver reliable data flows to enable advanced analytics and automated decision systems.

What is required?

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Certifications in cloud and integration products (Azure, AWS, iPaaS) are desirable; company support available for professional development.
  • Previous experience in integration engineering, with hands-on experience using AWS Integration Services, Azure Logic Apps, or iPaaS (e.g., Workato, Boomi, Snaplogic).
  • Solid exposure to cloud technology, particularly AWS (S3/Blob, Lambda), and integration tools (REST APIs, webhooks, Kafka, ActiveMQ).
  • Familiarity with building and maintaining integration for AI/ML models is an advantage.About MinRes
