The Opportunity
Due to recent internal growth and a drive to consistently improve, the Wodgina Processing Facility is looking to add a Long-Term Maintenance Planner to its site-based planning team. This will be fulltime position working on a 4/3 or 8/6 roster at our Wodgina Processing Facility and reporting into the Superintendent for Planning.
The Long-Term Planner will be responsible for controlling effective asset maintenance plans and managing the long-term requirements and health of our Pronto CMMS system. The long-term planner owns the long-term planning, budgeting, and rolling medium term planning processes within the Wodgina Processing Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the annual zero-based budget for maintenance across Fixed Plant Processing
- Quarterly reforecasting of maintenance budget in line with business demands
- Plan all major maintenance activities for Fixed Plant Processing
- Develop detailed scopes of work for maintenance packages
- Provide/maintain a 16-week plan in Pronto and provide 12-month forecasts
- Ensure that key inputs such as asset condition, usage and existing strategies are considered when developing a long-term plan
- Drive standardisation and improvement of long-term planning process across departments
- Works with maintenance planning teams to ensure that maintenance activities are effectively coordinated and integrated to balance asset integrity with production requirements.
- Labour forecasts for the budgeting processes to support the 5- and 25-year plans
- Ensuring all statutory and regulatory requirements are captured in the new maintenance strategies ensuring compliance to operate standards.
What is Required:
- Minimum 3 years maintenance planning & long-term planning experience
- Extensive experience in maintenance budget development
- Experience or background with the operation and maintenance of processing equipment
- Heavy knowledge and understanding of Asset Management principles & Standards and enterprise risk, safety, quality & assurance business systems
- Australian Standards / Legislative obligations across various disciplines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Proficiency in planning software such as Pronto or similar
- Ability to manage time and meet deadline requirements and ability to adapt and work effectively within a variety of situations and with various groups and individuals
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines, both autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and sound collaborative communication skills
- Abilities in risk management, resource and budget planning, and understanding of safety regulations are critical
- Excellent communication, leadership and decision-making skills. Additionally, analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and organising skills are also important
