About the role 

Due to recent internal growth and newly acquired external contracts  the MinRes Asset Management Division is looking to add a Long Term Maintenance Planner to its Perth based planning team. This will be fulltime position working Monday - Friday  based at MinRes' state of the art Osborne Park offices and reporting into the Superintendent for Planning.  

The Long Term Planner will be responsible for generating 12  month rolling plans, securing all parts & resources as well as developing works packs for each assets all whilst ensuring the fleet achieves maximum availability in a cost effective manner. 

Other responsibilities will include but not limited to: 

  • Long Term Plan Work Management (P&S) KPI’s For Each Project
  • Work packs developed with ALL procedures, work orders and special instructions (component returns, etc), and start date determined
  • Maximizing Asset Health & Minimising Down Time Via Packaging Preliminary Plans
  • Liaison With OEMs, Plant Engineers & Maintenance / Operations Managers
  • 6M Handover Of an Asset Component Change-out Plan for Excavators
  • WK12 Handover Of an Asset Component Change-out Plan for all other Assets 
  • Maximising Asset Health & Minimising Down Time Via Packaging Preliminary Plans
  • Ensuring all components, kits & Labour are secured with a PO 
  • External services (eg. Cranes, borers, equipment, etc.) secured with PO
  • Ensuring all plans are created comply with OEM guidelines & MinRes HSE standards

 

What you’ll bring to the team 

  • You will hold the relevant trade/tertiary qualification (Heavy Diesel/ Electrical or graduate diploma in Maintenance Management  
  • A qualification in Reliability  Engineering is highly desirable  
  • 5-10 years working in a Mining Environment 
  • Proficient with Pronto & AMT (CMMS)
  • Proficient with MS Project, Excel and KPI report writing/ development 
  • Demonstrated experience successfully building business relationships and coordinating multiple trade disciplines
  • Knowledge of HSEQT legislative requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills & ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of Asset Management principles and standards
