About the role

Reporting to the Manager People Construction, you’ll provide strategic and operational guidance to both Head office and site-based teams across all areas of human resources in our Construction team.

Key Responsibilities in the role will include;

• Partner with and provide guidance to our business and leaders through a thorough understanding of human resources practices and facilitate delivery of initiatives that are practical and impactful
• Conduct workplace investigations and case management
• Lead the effective application and interpretation of enterprise agreements, modern awards employment contracts and other legislation as required
• Manage workplace investigations and redeployment processes
• Lead as a change champion and contribute to our continuous improvement and change strategies,
• Contribute to the design and implementation of relevant human resources services, policies and strategies
• Act as a subject matter expert, coach and mentor senior leaders around all people related issues and initiative

What you’ll bring to the team

• Demonstrated experience in a HR generalist role operating in a similar role & industry
• In depth knowledge to leading investigations and disciplinary processes
• Demonstrated ability to manage and engage key stakeholders across multiple teams, sites and locations
• Demonstrated ability to adjust strategies and plans to meet changing priorities
• Highly developed problem-solving skills with the ability to find contemporary solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner with others to influence change at all levels
