The Opportunity
As the Senior People Systems Analyst, you will support the delivery, optimisation and enhancement of fit‑for‑purpose People Systems that meet the needs of the People function across MinRes.
In this hands‑on role, you will bring your technical expertise, problem‑solving capability and collaborative mindset, delivering accurate, secure and actionable information that drives business outcomes. You will take ownership of designing solutions, maintaining data integrity and identifying opportunities for continual improvement in line with emerging best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for system incidents, requests and complex user issues
- Gather, analyse, document and translate business requirements into effective People System solutions
- Performing testing (including UAT and PVT) and implement system changes and enhancements in line with approved business processes and priorities
- Maintain up‑to‑date system documentation and user support materials as configurations evolve
- Support the development and maintenance of people reporting, analytics, and dashboards
- Create, modify and optimise native system reports to meet business and compliance requirements
- Ensure data integrity, security and accuracy through robust validation and maintenance
- Deliver knowledge‑sharing initiatives, enabling People teams to confidently maintain and support systems and processes
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver effective solutions
- Contribute to system upgrades, new projects, and governance initiatives
- Monitor emerging People Systems trends and recommend changes to keep solutions current and fit‑for‑purpose
- Build strong internal and external relationships that enable enhanced system outcomes
Your Experience and Skills:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Technology, or related discipline (desirable)
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central Payroll) is mandatory
- Experience with Workforce Software and Spinifex Easy Reporter (desirable)
- Strong background in system administration and troubleshooting
- Proven ability in business requirement gathering, system analysis, and testing processes
- Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms
- A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
