The Opportunity
MinRes is seeking a motivated Site Administrator to support the Haulage operations at our Onslow Iron Project.

This role will be on a 6-month fixed-term contract, based on an 8D 6RR roster FIFO from Perth to Onslow. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment! We want someone who has a ‘can-do attitude’ and is eager to contribute to our busy team. You will be a key player in managing administrative tasks and supporting daily operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to site management and staff, including roster management, leave management, travel coordination, scheduling meetings and issuing correspondence.
  • Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders, including operations, HR, payroll, safety, training, mobilisations and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency.
  • Working closely with our people logistics team, booking travel and logistics, managing rosters and any changes that come up on a day-to-day basis. Liaise with subcontractors to arrange travel and accommodation requirements.
  • Raise requisitions, receipting purchase orders as directed by the Site Manager(s) and following up on invoices.
  • Support employees with timesheet entry queries and ensure cost codes are allocated in the relevant systems.
  • Act as a liaison between the site and corporate offices, handling inquiries and ensuring timely communication of relevant information.

 

What is required?

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar site-based administration or customer facing role
  • Great organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, with a strong ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using mobilisation and flight management software (INX and SAM)
  • Strong Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel skills
  • Current Australian working rights

The project encompasses the Ken’s Bore mine (approximately 150km from Onslow), Truck Maintenance Facility and Onslow Port infrastructure.
