About the Opportunity

The MinRes Asset Management team have an immediate requirement for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to support and oversee Power Generation crews across all MinRes operations based in the Goldfields and Pilbara.

Reporting to the Field Service Manager your primary responsibility will be providing clear leadership to the onsite Power Generation teams whilst also facilitating the development of Power Generation maintenance improvement plans, developing cost saving initiatives and aligning the department’s strategies to the overall business goals. This position will be based at our Osborne Park Head Office working a 5:2 Mon- Friday roster and you will be required to travel to site on an ad-hoc basis.

Key Responsibilities will include:  

• Maintain respectful, effective, cohesive and reciprocal working relationships with all stakeholders both internal and external to MRL ensuring responsibilities, targets and results are successfully achieved.
• Provide strong leadership that supports a high-performance culture and models appropriate behaviors that will successfully deliver results.
• Drive, implement and ensure compliance to the Company Safety Management Systems and Programs
• Report on workplace performances in the forms of daily site reports, monthly activity reporting & weekly safety reports
• Drive continuous improvement and safety culture across all sites.

What is required  

• An unrestricted WA Electrical Licence
• Must hold an Electrical Contractors Licence and assume this responsibility for the Asset Management business.
• Previous multi-site management experience  
• Analytical, technical and diagnosis experience
• Successful completion of the Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor competency units and legislation exam
• Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferrable.
• Strong computer literacy skills and exposure to maintenance CRMs
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to deal with stakeholders on all levels.
• Above all, an outstanding attitude and culture of safety, care and professionalism
