The Opportunity
 
MinRes is currently seeking experienced Field Supervisors to lead and coordinate all field-based activities. This role involves direct supervision of field crews and contracting partners to ensure operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company policies and mining regulations. You will be responsible for ensuring the structured and timely delivery of project milestones, while actively contributing to short-term operational planning. The role maintains accountability to the line leader for the successful execution of assigned projects and plays a key role in driving continuous improvement across field performance and team productivity.
 
As a Field Supervisor, your core focus will be to enhance operational efficiency by effectively coordinating daily activities, monitoring team performance, and fostering strong communication among all stakeholders. Your proactive leadership and organisational skills will be essential in ensuring the timely and accurate completion of field tasks, ultimately supporting the success of our exploration projects
 
This role will be on a 8D6X7D7X roster, to oversee our projects onsite. 
 
Key responsibilities may include:
• Contractor supervision and management: Monitor contractor productivity and compliance, Contractor coordination and communication, coordinate daily pre-start and toolbox meetings, maintain accurate records and reporting as well as compliance with Company and regulatory standards
• Oversee pad preparation, permitting, and logistics for regional and near-mine exploration programs. Manage procurement and service requests through Coupa to support seamless field operations 
• Oversee the work of Senior Field Technicians and Field Technicians, ensuring effective task delegation and completion.
• Coordinating sampling processing complying with stringent QAQC protocols 
• Ensuring standard work procedures and safe systems of work are understood where not, rectify and fix in field and/or provide appropriate follow up actions
• Supporting the Safety Management System ensuring a safety-first work culture
• Scheduling personnel activities to achieve the objectives of the various field plans
 
What is required?
• Proven experience in field supervision within the mining or exploration sector
• Current Statutory Supervisor Schedule 26 or working towards
• Cert III in Mineral Exploration (highly desirable)
• Strong leadership, organisational, and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Contractor supervision and in field management.
• Strong understanding earthworks drilling, boundary surveying, drill collar and pad pegging, using GPS and DGPS systems. 
• Ability to communicate effectively and constructively with senior business leaders and other technical stakeholders.
