About your new role: 

As a Barista at Alba's Café, you will be at the heart of our coffee shop. You will create hand-crafted beverages and provide exceptional service to all our customers. You'll need to be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and welcoming attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages to company standards.
• Operate coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and customer areas.
• Respond to customer inquiries and orders in a friendly and professional manner.
• Stock and replenish inventory as needed.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning tasks and setting up the space for the next day.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements:

• Experience as a barista or in a similar role.
• Passion for coffee and understanding of various brewing methods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Barista certification or relevant training.
• Food Handling certificate
• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of coffee bean origins and flavor profiles.
