The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager Maintenance you will be responsible for short to medium term maintenance activities for all AMG Assets for a project ensuring the equipment fleet achieves maximum availability in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

This role is based in our Head Office in Osborne Park, working Monday to Friday.

  • Develop and maintain maintenance plans spanning 2 to 12 weeks ahead, ensuring work is scheduled and ready for execution by WK+4.
  • Generate forecasts, secure parts, labour, and resources for all planned maintenance activities.
  • Create detailed work packs for each work order with clear instructions and procedural compliance.
  • Ensure accurate historical asset data is maintained in CMMS systems (AMT, Pronto) and ERP platforms.
  • Liaise with Perth and project maintenance leadership, stores personnel, OEMs, and other stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and alignment.
  • Monitor compliance with OEM procedures, AMG Asset Management Framework, and MRL HSEQT standards.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly Work Management KPI reports.
  • Organise mobilisation of specialised resources, equipment, and tooling as required.
  • Participate in major shutdown planning meetings and support long-term planning functions.
  • Manage procurement processes via Coupa and reporting through PowerBI and AMT.

 

What is required?

  • Proven experience in maintenance planning within mining, industrial, or heavy engineering sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of CMMS (AMT, Pronto) and ERP systems.
  • Experience with asset management frameworks and compliance (OEM, AMG, MRL).
  • Competency in generating forecasts, managing procurement, and resource mobilisation.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools such as PowerBI.
