The Opportunity:

We're seeking an experienced Haulage Scheduler who will play an integral part of our team, based at our Onslow Iron Project 8D 6RR 7N 7RR roster. This role suits individuals with high level organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and substantial experience in fleet management. This role will be liaising and collaborating with various teams to ensure smooth operations, while complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Managing Resources: Allocating the fleet as per the requirements and making sure all vehicles are in good working order.
• Scheduling Operations: Assigning tasks to drivers and operators, scheduling their routes, and ensuring the tasks are performed within the set time frame. Responding swiftly to changes in schedule, maintaining optimal fleet performance.
• Monitoring Performance: Continuously monitoring the execution of tasks, and the performance of drivers and equipment. Troubleshooting and resolving challenges in haulage schedules and operations.
• Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of all operations for analysis and future planning.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Haulage Scheduler or in fleet management or in a similar role; mine operations scheduler, shipping scheduler or logistics scheduler.
• Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in logistics and scheduling software.
• Solid understanding of mining operations and transport logistics.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

About Onslow

Our Onslow Iron project is set to redefine mining in Western Australia through world-first autonomous road trains, industry leading dust free transport and innovative transhipping.

Taking shape 150 kilometres east of Onslow, the project will ship around 35 million tonnes of iron ore per year and is expected to have a mine life of more than 30 years.

The project encompasses the Ken’s Bore mine (approximately 150km from Onslow), Truck Maintenance Facility and Onslow Port infrastructure.
