The Role:
We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team, on a Monday – Friday roster based at our Osborne Park Head office. The maintenance planner is responsible for the short and long term maintenance planning & scheduling for all aspects relating to MCP projects, including mobile crushing equipment and mobile equipment fleet, ordering of parts and critical spares management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete all AMG maintenance planning and scheduling in Pronto
- Maintaining and updating maintenance backlog for the fleet
- Weekly, Monthly and Project To Date reporting on compliance to plan per site and group
- Ordering all parts and consumables as required on a daily basis as received from each site including MEM Parts and Crushing plant parts (eg screen mats, skirting rubber, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, wear lines etc etc) and All site consumables
- Assist with continued sourcing of best value for money parts and suppliers
- Set up the MCP critical spares lists in Coupa for each MCP asset
- Maintain lists and update as required (new/different suppliers, updates to critical spares lists, new equipment)
- Equipment on hire and off hire and the start and finish of each project
- Assist with ongoing review of maintenance strategies
- Keeper of critical spares stocktakes for each asset and working with each site to complete stocktakes
- Site visits and trips as required to support the sites
What you’ll bring:
- Trade Certificate (desirable)
- Proven experience in Maintenance Planning and ideally in a Mining environment
- Knowledge of both Crushing and Screening, and Mobile equipment assets, maintenance practices and requirements. (Fleet mainly Terex Finlay, Kleemann and Caterpillar
- Ability to plan multiple activities for remote areas with knowledge of logistical issues. \Sound knowledge of maintenance planning philosophies.
- Advanced Skills in all Microsoft Programs.
- Experience with production activities in a mineral processing plant.
