About the Opportunity  

As a direct result of new Crushing and Rehab Projects won by the MinRes Mining Services division the MinRes Asset Management Group has an immediate requirement for experienced and motivated Maintenance Schedulers to join the respective project teams! This will be fulltime permanent position working an 8:6 Roster alongside tier 1 client teams and reporting directly to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendents and play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our assets by developing and executing maintenance plans that maximise equipment availability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities will include:  

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance plans, ensuring they are efficiently executed and contribute to maximising equipment availability while adhering to safety standards 
  • Order and coordinate all necessary parts and materials for planned and scheduled maintenance work, ensuring timely availability to minimise downtime Continuously analyse planned versus actual results, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing enhancements to optimise maintenance processes

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on daily and weekly reports, facilitating data-driven decision-making for maintenance planning and resource allocation
  • Working closely with various stakeholder from Superintendents down and contribute to the continuous improvement of our maintenance processes 

What is required

  • A Heavy Duty Trade Qualification or a degree in reliability engineering HIGHLY DESIRBALE 
  • Strong commitment to Safety, when creating maintenance plans ensuring they comply with MinRes safety standards and the team is set up for success with the correct tooling, adequate labour & highly detailed work packs 
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate constructive communication with various stakeholders, both internal and external, and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a maintenance planning team
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to review planned versus actual results, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to continuously improve maintenance plans and processes 
  • Experience using Maintenance CRM Systems, Pronto and AMT experience is desirable but not essential
