About the Opportunity

A wholly owned subsidiary of Mineral Resources Ltd (ASX: MIN), CSI Mining Services is a leading provider of pit-to-ship mining services unique to the resources industry. As one of Australia’s largest mining services contractors, CSI supports MinRes projects and external clients by providing capital infrastructure and whole-of-life operational expertise. CSI operations in Western Australia and Queensland. 

We are seeking Mechanical Fitters with fixed plant crushing experience to join our team for current and future opportunities.

These roles are full time positions and can allow you to grow your skill set with on-site training and the opportunity to develop your career on the tools and as a leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on large scale fixed plant machinery and equipment
  • Attending breakdowns
  • Work with the Planning team to improve plant reliability
  • Identify business improvements and drive change
  • Small capital project work involving commissioning

What is required:

  • Demonstrated safety commitment
  • Experience with fixed plant maintenance, ideally in mining or a similar industry
  • Australian or Australian recognised trade qualification
  • Current Australian Driver's License
  • HRWL (DG, RB, CN, WP) (highly desirable)
  • Construction Induction Card 
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing (desirable)
  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
  • Ability to meet pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening requirements.
