The Opportunity

MinRes is a globally significant lithium producer with world-class assets. These include two of the world's largest hard-rock lithium mines, Mt Marion and Wodgina.

Reporting to the Metallurgy Superintendent and working on an 8:6 roster on a 9-month fixed term contract, you will assist in recovery improvement initiatives and provide technical support for team members within the lithium processing plant at our Wodgina mine in Western Australia.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing metallurgical support for the team.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and calibrations.
  • Collecting and preparing samples from the processing plant.
  • Carrying out lab scale test work, such as bench scale flotation tests and sieve sizing.
  • Helping identify and develop metallurgical improvement projects.

What is Required?

Our preferred candidates will have prior experience within metallurgical environments in the Mining sector.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products.
  • While not essential, previous experience in using Outotec OSA and PSI instruments would be beneficial.

About Wodgina
