We have a permanent fulltime opportunity for an experienced Metallurgist to work at our Lucky Bay Australian Garnet mine site.
This is a Residential role, based in Kalbarri, Northampton or Geraldton working 8 days on 6 days off roster.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with technical requirements to support mining activities;
- Assistance with pipeline services/operations and MUP moves;
- Environmental/Survey/Geology data capture for mining operations;
- Liaison with Mining, Processing and Maintenance teams within Australian Garnet;
- Monitor MUP and Tails operations and take action to maintain or improve production;
- Optimise mining operations to provide the best outcome for the business.
Necessary skills and qualifications
- Mining experience 1-3 years (preferred);
- Good technical aptitude;
- Computer literate and motivated to learn;
- Experience with sand mining operations (preferred);
- Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations (highly regarded);
- Certificate III in Surveying and Spatial Information Services (highly regarded).
