The Opportunity

Due to operational growth, we're seeking a hands-on and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team. This is a unique, full-time opportunity supporting mining operations.

This full-time, permanent position follows an 7D 7N 7RR roster.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations to ensure safe, efficient, and productive processes
  • Lead and manage a crew of operators, fostering a positive and safety-focused team culture
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate shift objectives, safety requirements, and site policies
  • Oversee and enforce compliance with all site procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Perform workplace inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations as required
  • Liaise with other departments (e.g., drill & blast, maintenance, pit tech) to coordinate operational priorities
  • Track and report on production targets, operational KPIs, and shift performance
  • Provide on-the-job coaching, guidance, and support to team members

A successful candidate will have:

  • Extensive practical experience as a Shift Supervisor in mining operations
  • Experience managing highly productive crews on remote mining projects
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance procedures
  • Schedule 26 and operational background
  • Competent with computer-based systems and operational software (e.g., INX, reporting tools)
