About the role

Mineral Resources People Logistics team are seeking an experienced Shutdown Logistics Officer. Reporting through to the Shutdown Logistics Supervisor, you will be required to manage the end-to-end Shutdown process, across all MinRes owner operator sites and provide assistance with compliance checks for current employees attending Shutdowns to Client Sites such as BHP, Roy Hill & Rio Tinto. 

 

  • Manage requests for all Shutdown workers (internal & external) 
  • Ensuring all compliances have been met according to MinRes shutdown requirements 
  • Coordinating training and inductions for new and existing employees 
  • Liaising with external training & medical providers as and when required 
  • Daily use of INX compliance system to process Mobilisation workflows
  • Coordinate flight & accommodation requirements using SAM suite
  • Action & maintain daily tasks list using Sharepoint 
  • Monitor, maintain and review site manning lists 
  • Provide comprehensive updates to leadership as required, including escalation of non-compliance
  • Maintaining and fostering a work environment which prompts safety in all that we do, whilst also providing outstanding customer service 

 

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Previous experience working in a similar fast-paced, dynamic Shutdown environment 
  • Previous experience booking travel and accommodation requirements 
  • A good understanding of mine site and construction industry requirements 
  • Experience with INX and/or SAM suite is desirable 
  • Possess high attention to detail and exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal 
  • Ability to build relationships with on-site Managers, Superintendents and Project Managers 
  • Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure 
  • Demonstrated experience working on multiple projects simultaneously whilst also providing a calibre of service 
  • A positive team playing attitude where you’re not afraid to roll your sleeves up and have some fun while you work!
