The Opportunity

You will play a crucial part within our team supporting our haulage operations by monitoring and diagnosing tyre damage and wear, removing and replacing wheels (no strip and fit required), performing emergency tyre and related repairs on our impressive fleet of Kenworth road trains.

This is a permanent full-time position based on a 2/1 roster with rotating day and night shifts, offering Fly In, Fly Out from Perth WA or Brisbane QLD.  

What is required?

• Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Fitting or equivalent
• A strong commitment to safety and quality of work
• Demonstrated experience with heavy vehicle or heavy mobile plant machinery
• The ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Unlimited Australian Work Rights

About Onslow Iron

Our Onslow Iron project is set to redefine mining in Western Australia through world-first autonomous road trains, industry leading dust free transport, innovative transhipping and resort-style workforce accommodation.

Taking shape 150 kilometres east of Onslow, the project will ship around 35 million tonnes of iron ore per year and is expected to have a mine life of more than 30 years.

The project will encompass the Ken’s Bore mine (approximately 150km from Onslow), Onslow Port infrastructure, Onslow Resort and Truck Maintenance Facility.
