The Opportunity
We’re seeking a talented and motivated Haulage Supervisor to join our Onslow Iron team on an 8D6RR / 7N7RR roster.

Reporting directly to the Haulage Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and productive movement of materials with our large fleet of road trains. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day haulage scheduling, guide your team to perform at their best, and uphold our strong safety-first ethos.

Your leadership and operational skill will keep workflows running smoothly, drive performance, and help us deliver on production targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead the haulage crew, ensuring daily production schedules are achieved.
  • Provide visible, hands-on leadership while mentoring team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Champion safety compliance, reinforcing our commitment to a zero-harm workplace.
  • Define responsibilities clearly, set measurable expectations, and ensure resources are in place to meet them.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to boost operational efficiency.
  • Track and assess team performance, making adjustments to meet targets.
  • Produce clear, concise production reports, highlighting achievements as well as challenges to senior management.

What is required?

  • Proven experience as a Haulage Supervisor in a comparable industry, preferably with Kenworth C509s.
  • Strong understanding of haulage operations and logistics in the mining sector.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Confident decision-maker when working under pressure.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal capabilities.
  • Highly organised, with excellent planning abilities.
