About the role

Our South Guildford Training Centre is currently seeking an experienced Compliance Trainer to join the team.

The role will ensure the workplace training needs are successfully achieved to the MinRes standards, aligned to the organization’s goals and assist in ensuring employee compliance to ensure that are ready to go once they arrive on site.

Some of the key responsibilities for this role are:

• Facilitate training and assessment (Nationally Recognised Training, VOC, Familiarisations, Site based training presentations etc.)  to meet site needs in accordance with the MinRes Training System
• Develop training packages to meet business needs
• Build key relationships with site-based management teams to ensure their training needs are met
• Promote and support the MinRes Training Standards and Processes
• Upload completed training documentation into LMS
• Audit MinRes sites to ensure compliance with the Training Framework requirements
• Support the implementation of new VOC/Training requirements for new equipment on site
• Lead by example in the field to ensure best practices are demonstrated and abided by

About you

• Demonstrated experience working in a training role, within a busy, remote mining environment is crucial
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116)
• Requirement to hold any or all of the following National Competencies;
• RIIWHS202D Enter and Work in a Confined Space
• RIIWHS204D Work Safely at Heights
• MSMWHS217 Gas Test Atmospheres
• RIIHAN301D Operate Elevating Work Platform (scissor lift)
• RIIHAN305D Operate a Gantry or Overhead Crane
• RIIMPO3018D Conduct Civil Construction Skid Steer Loader Operations
• High Risk Work Licences
• First Aid – LVR and CPR
• Training Management System experience (INX- InTuition desirable)
• Experience with the development of training packages to National Standards
• Valid C Class drivers’ licence
