About the Opportunity
MinRes is seeking an experienced Mining Supervisor to join our Iron Valley, Central Pilbara operations on a 7 days on / 7 nights on / 7 days off (2/1) roster. Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you will guide, mentor, and lead a crew of up to 35 operators to reach our production targets safely and on time.
- Overseeing and managing our assets, including people, plant, and equipment, to achieve operational outcomes in safety, quality, performance, efficiency, and cost
- Conducting regular site inspections and daily interactions with the workforce
- Providing technical and practical support to operators
- Ensuring team output and KPIs are on track, in line with Company objectives
- Maintaining and fostering a working environment that prompts safety in all that we do, whilst also providing outstanding service
What is required?
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working within a Mining and Production Environment
- Demonstrated 2 years’ supervisory experience in an open pit environment
- Hold a Section 44 and Statutory – Schedule 26 or working towards sitting the exam
- Ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong focus on safety and fostering a zero harm culture
- Quarry Manager certificate (desirable)
