About the role

Reporting to the Supervisor Training, this role is responsible for delivering simulator-based training and support, including face-to-face instruction. Responsibilities include conducting pre-employment assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and proficiency testing based on key performance indicators and programmed scenarios.

The primary purpose of this role is to operate and manage the simulator fleet and associated equipment, supporting the business in achieving its training, safety, and production objectives.

The training is delivered at our state of the art Sim City in Osborne Park and that the roster is Monday to Friday.

You will be responsible for;

• Simulator training for Surface Mining Equipment across multiple platforms
• positive and empowering interaction with trainees while delivering instruction and guidance
• updating and maintaining valid and reliable training records within Company systems
• Monitoring the progress of trainees through regular contact with Site Trainers and Line Management to provide end-to-end support.
• Uploading training results, records and information correctly in INX InTuition in a timely manner

What you’ll bring to the team

• Certificate IV TAE 40116 – Training and Assessment
• Extensive knowledge of SME and ancillary mining equipment
• Knowledge of HSEQT legislative requirements
• Ability to lift/install Simulator equipment (two-person lift where required)
