Compliance Trainer - Haulage

About the Role

As a Haulage  Compliance Trainer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our haulage operations remain compliant with all legislative, safety, and company requirements. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality training, assessing competency, and supporting continuous improvement in our safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, deliver and assess haulage compliance training to MinRes employees and contractors.
  • Ensure all drivers and relevant personnel are trained and competent in accordance with company and legal standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of haulage operations to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate training records, manuals and compliance documentation.
  • Identify and report areas for improvement in training and safety procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to site supervisors and operators regarding compliance best practices.
  • Keep up to date with changes in regulations, industry standards, and best practice relating to haulage and transport compliance.

About You

  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent – essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in mine haulage, heavy vehicle operations or transport compliance.
  • Current RII tickets for Loader, Grader, Excavator would be desirable
  • High risk Licence desirable
  • Rio Tinto inducted desirable
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • High-level attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Current MC driver's licence essential.
