About the role

CSI is seeking a dynamic Production Scheduler to join our team based at the Onslow Iron Operation, Western Australia located between Kens Bore Mine and Onslow Port Operations. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the seamless coordination of mining activities, crushing processes, and transport logistics. In this position, you will:

  • Prepare, plan & implement production schedules.
  • Be responsible for the daily production scheduling activities relating to Crushing, Haulage, Port, Marine operations.
  • Be responsible for the creation and management of the Weekly and Monthly Planning and Scheduling processes.
  • Source inputs for all plans and information from internal departments including, but not limited to, OHP operations, Haulage Operations, Port & Marine Operations teams.
  • Ensure scheduled maintenance activities are captured and production scheduled to meet project requirements.
  • Identify changes in scope of work and amend schedule as required.
  • Data entry, calculations and presentation e.g. maps, charts, sketches, diagrams and reports.

 

Skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Planning or Scheduling within the mining industry
  • Engineering Degree (not essential)
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to meet targets
  • Agile problem solver
