The Opportunity

MinRes is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent on an 8x6 roster to lead our mechanical maintenance team at the Wodgina mine site. Report to the Manager of Plant Maintenance, in this role, you will ensure the reliability and performance of all mechanical equipment, oversee maintenance activities, and foster a culture of safety and efficiency within your team.

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of electrical and mechanical maintenance technicians, ensuring a high level of performance and engagement
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, promoting a safety culture within the team.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and prepare reports to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Work closely with other departments, such as operations and planning, to ensure alignment of maintenance activities with site objectives

Your Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the mining and resources industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Strong and practical communication skills and ability to work cohesively within a team
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• proficient in maintenance management software and MS Office Suite
