The Opportunity
The Training Systems Analyst is responsible for overseeing and supporting all business training systems and associated platforms, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of people and training related data. You will play an integral role in system governance, contributing to the development and implementation of processes that maintain data quality and compliance, whilst supporting system initiatives requirements to ensure training systems effectively meet business needs.
This role will report directly to the Manager Training Design & Systems, and you will be based at our MinRes HQ office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training reporting and analytics by creating new dashboards, and by reviewing, updating, and maintaining existing ones to address evolving business needs.
- Fulfil transactional, ad hoc, cyclical, and compliance-related training data reporting requests as required by the business.
- Collaborate with end users and key stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and integrity across all training systems and platforms.
- Contribute to integrated data management practices and enhance data storytelling related to training initiatives.
- Provide recommendations for optimising training systems, improving efficiency, and streamlining work practices through technical solutions.
- Support all training system initiatives by inputting into requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training and educating end users.
- Prepare and maintain user guides, training materials, and system documentation for training platforms.
- Review and maintain system security frameworks through ongoing user management and periodic audits of training systems.
- Analyse and interrogate master training data to support projects and business initiatives.
What is Required
- Tertiary qualification in IT, HR, or similar (Desirable)
- Strong data analytics skills and advanced capability in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools, with a demonstrated ability to create visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards
- Experience in creating intuitive mock-ups and wireframes to visualize reporting solutions and solicit feedback from stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms
- Experience implementing systems and/or process changes and training.
