The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our dynamic fabrication workshop team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering project results by coordinating and managing resources efficiently. This includes estimating, pricing, and planning jobs in the workshop, as well as assisting Workshop Superintendents with managing on-floor repairs.
This role also entails preparing quotes and driving business development efforts.
Based in our Hazelmere Workshop in Perth, on a 5D 2RR roster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates and plan jobs for the fabrications workshop.
- Assist Workshop Superintendents in managing on-floor repairs.
- Act as a point of liaison between diverse teams, ensuring smooth operation.
- Prepare detailed quotes for clients, supporting business development initiatives.
- Adhere to safety and quality control standards.
What is required?
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role managing an MEM or fabrication workshop and office, with proven experience working with a diverse workforce.
Key skills, experience, and qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator, preferably within a fabrication workshop setting.
- Excellent skills in project estimation, planning, and execution.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite and P6 desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical knowledge with an emphasis on fabrication/repair principles.
- Fabrication Trade Qualification.
- Current WA Driver’s License – C Class.
- Existing and ongoing Australian work rights.

The workshop, located in Hazelmere, Perth specialises in the design, manufacture, repair and refurbishment of mobile mining equipment.
