The Opportunity:

We're in the market for an experienced fixed plant Maintenance Scheduler to join our dedicated team operating at our Onslow Iron project on an 8D 6RR roster. In this role, you will be integral in managing and coordinating the timely and efficient planning of asset maintenance schedules to ensure optimal site performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement detailed maintenance plans and schedules.
• Optimise the allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Assign and manage resources with regard to cost, timeframes and labour availability.
• Coordinate maintenance tasks based on asset health and criticality.
• Collaborate with department heads to align maintenance priorities with organisational goals.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies in maintenance workflows.
• Ensure all maintenance activities align with safety protocols and standards.
• Interact regularly with maintenance and operations teams to ensure effective communication of maintenance schedules.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Scheduler within a fixed plant mining environment.
• Proficiency in the use of a computerised maintenance management system.
• Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.
• Ability to quickly adapt plans in response to unexpected maintenance needs.
• Extensive knowledge in the use of Pronto and Microsoft programs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• An understanding of maintenance workflows within mining or similar heavy industries.

About Onslow Iron Project

Our Onslow Iron project is set to redefine mining in Western Australia through world-first autonomous road trains, industry leading dust free transport and innovative transhipping.

Taking shape 150 kilometres east of Onslow, the project will ship around 35 million tonnes of iron ore per year and is expected to have a mine life of more than 30 years.

The project encompasses the Ken’s Bore mine (approximately 150km from Onslow), Truck Maintenance Facility and Onslow Port infrastructure.  

Onslow Iron will redefine mining with its world-first autonomous road trains, industry leading dust free transport and resort-style accommodation for a workforce of around 800 people.
