The Opportunity

As the Onslow Iron Operation continues to ramp up  we now an immediate requirement for Auto Electricians to join the workshop maintenance team in their purpose built 2.5 Acre facility based on the Onslow Coast. You will be reporting to the Workshop Supervisor and will be working alongside the likes of HD Fitters, Boilermakers & Tyre Fitters maintaining a brand new fleet of Kenworth C509 Road trains equip with Cummins ISX Engines and a small fleet of ancillary gear. 

Theses are fulltime permanent positions are based on a 2/1 roster with rotating day and night shifts, offering Fly In, Fly Out from Perth WA or Brisbane QLD.  

What is required?

  • Australian or New Zealand recognised trade qualification
  • Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence 
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality of work
  • Demonstrated diagnostic, fault finding, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills
  • Experience with Cummins products and Cummins Insight - Highly Regarded!
  • Air-condition licence - Highly Regarded 

About Onslow Iron

Our Onslow Iron project is set to redefine mining in Western Australia through world-first autonomous road trains, industry leading dust free transport and innovative transshipping.

Taking shape 150 kilometres east of Onslow, the project will ship around 35 million tonnes of iron ore per year and is expected to have a mine life of more than 30 years.
