The Opportunity:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Cataloguer to join our MRL Supply team in Perth. Reporting to the Inventory Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our procurement system is equipped with accurate and comprehensive materials and services information. Your work will enable visibility, enhance analytics, and support key Supply Purchase to Pay processes, minimizing manual transactional purchasing and ensuring data content is suitable for enabling processes across the Supply chain.

This is a 12-month fixed-term role on a Monday to Friday roster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create materials/Service Masters using standard transactions and bulk upload tools
  • Perform data analysis from limited information to produce consistent and accurate systems information
  • Plan and prioritize multiple tasks across various projects
  • Manage project plans and communicate changes, status, and improvements effectively
  • Assist in developing data standards, templates, and training packages
  • Mentor and train team members on the cataloguing function
  • Maintain respectful and effective relationships with stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational, stress management, and goal orientation abilities
  • Background in Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Project Management
  • Auslang/NATA Cataloguing Certificate is highly regarded
  • Cataloguing experience, ideally within the mining industry
  • Familiarity with ECCMA/UNSPSC standards and commercial vendor processes
  • Proficient in data manipulation and ERP optimization/bulk uploading
